My experience at clovis west was a very interesting time, they have a lot of support for you if you are going through a rough time. They also have quite a selection of elective and different courses you can take there. They are even connected to other types of specialized classes that you can take such as Cart or CTE.

Over my four years at Clovis West high school, I would describe my overall experience to be good. I have been surrounded by a good support system, the majority of my teachers have been helpful and passionate about teaching, and I have access to resources most students do not. I am also fond of the extracurriculars offered at Clovis West, and recommend any and all new students to take advantage of the opportunities offered here and get involved.

I am most grateful to my counselor this summer. Most staff members would be on vacation and ignore their responsibilities until school was in session again but I had many questions and needed to be enrolled into a class to secure a spot in a program I needed for college and she made it happen. CW takes all precaution with security. During a false bomb threat the school went into lockdown and secure the whole premises with a full service of law enforcement until it was safe to release the students. Parents were informed on a timely manner and updated of the situation around the clock.

This is one of the best high schools in CA. It is located in the nicest part of Fresno so receives lots of funding from the surrounding wealthy community.
