Building students' character and an educational foundation for future success represent Phalen Leadership Academy Elementary (PLA 93) at George H. Fisher School 93. PLA 93 is a tuition-free charter school in the Indianapolis Public Schools district serving students in kindergarten through sixth grade. PLA 93 calls each of its 456 students a scholar and works to give them the tools and support needed to fulfill their tremendous natural potential.
Residing in the Arlington Woods neighborhood, PLA 93 is one of the only A-rated schools on the east side of Indianapolis. The academy's mission statement is to provide scholars with high-quality education, ensuring scholars meet high-academic and social standards. One program that helps this mission is Project: RESTORE, which aims to reshape an entire school by taking ownership of a rigorous education.
After-school activities are available for students who want to be involved in choir, art club, scouts or youth basketball. Everything PLA 93 offers ensure students "thrive as leaders at home, in their communities, and in the world."
