GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I think Conant High School feels like jail. Ive been going to school here for four years and they used my grade as a guinea pig. Something changed for my grade every year whether it was the grading system, scheduling, or a requirement to graduate. I feel like the education could be a lot better especially the requirements to pass an elective compared to a required class. I also think that they should be giving out more 4's than they do, if I get everything right on the test I should be getting a 100 not an 86. The pass system is useless and never works. Also it shouldnt be freezing in the school in August I should be able to always be comfortable in a t shirt.

The best part of my education at Conant was the support given by the teachers. While I did not feel supported by the administration, my teachers always made sure to provide resources and offer their time. I can not say the same for all students, but I did not feel as thought college readiness is a strength of this highschool. While attempting the HS we lost two guidance counselors and were left with one person for the whole school. Many students fell through the gaps and from word of mouth, I don't belive the school has fully recovered from this loss.

Well for one, I think that the college readiness from Conant high school isn't exactly the best and you have to seek some of that outside of the school which is what I have done.

Please don't send your kids to this school. I am about to graduate from here, I have watched it go downhill fast during my time here. Not only do I hate it, my parents hate it, my friends hate it, and so do most of the teachers.. my parents are currently finding alternative schooling for my siblings...

Conant High School and Jaffrey Rindge Middle School are now overseen by the same administration (principal, vice-principals) and have the same schedule allowing middle-school students to the advantage of taking high school courses easily. The staff has been very receptive when I have reached out wit...

This school has made leaps & bounds from when we moved here. It used to be the "type" of school that parents would leave Jaffrey before their kids hit high school age so they didn't have to send them here. Now? It's one of the best high schools in NH, with wonderful teachers & staff, great sports &...
