Its one of the best public schools, if not the best public school in Delaware. They have lots of funding. The culture is great, many students have lots of school pride and going to games is always fun.

Teachers think they're great but the quality of teachers is below average. It's a good building not a good school. If you're looking for a good district for your kids to study in, try sussex academy.

I've watched since one of my children started at Beacon last year, kids being bullied, not just by students but by teachers as well. My daughter was never personally bothered, but witnessed many incidents of disrespectful interactions started by rude comments from teachers about clothing, hair color...

My overall experience of cape henlopen high school has been nothing but miserable and useless. The teachers, principals only care about theirselves and how their school does how the students do. It’s not a good high school to go to if you want to pursue a career or go to college.
