Rancho Dominguez Preparatory School is a public middle and high school in the Los Angeles Unified School District serving Grades 6 through 12. Located at 4110 Santa Fe Avenue in the city of Long Beach, Rancho Dominguez Preparatory serves the cities of Long Beach, Wilmington, Los Angeles and Carson. The school was formed in 2011 to relieve overcrowding in the surrounding areas and offer quality education in smaller classroom settings.
Rancho Dominguez Preparatory offers a STEM program and Advanced Placement courses in math and science. Home of the Lobos, Spanish for “wolves,” Rancho Dominguez Preparatory School offers a variety of sports, including cross country, track and field, football, volleyball, soccer and tennis. This school is a bad school do not send your children here as a student who went and has kid here now teachers are rude went back to school and they kicked me out for talking during the presentation to my kid not even loud they banned hats and my kid is getting threatened to get kicked out if he wears hats now and only has 2 more chances this school is not safe there fights at least two times day a week they serve ok food ig but the staff is worse my son asked to go the bathroom and he with a hall pass but since he passed the five minutes tim by a minute he was pulled of class and got considered ditching and they often curse which is not bad only a few bunch of good teachers tho

Rancho was a wonderful school and full of amazing teachers who love their job and care for their students. I would recommend any parent or guardian to enroll their kids there.

Its a small school that feels very familiar and warm, with students having better relationships with teachers and staff. The school has very solid teachers and really good college counselors who give very effective advice and make the college admission process very smooth.
