Long Beach is an amazing school. I love it and love how amazing it is. The school is right in the middle of the town, so it has great surrounding areas. The school is also very safe.

Long Beach High School has its pros and cons. If you're in advanced programs, the teachers are capable and good at their job. LBHS excels in arts, which is also where the least funding goes. They're slow to take action against bigotry but the counselors are excellent and go above and beyond.

My freshman year was the most difficult out of the years I've been here. There wasn't enough valuable teachers to help me learn what I needed. They didn't want to teach. The construction this year ruined a lot. They needed a better and adaptive plan for the students. I would like to see better staff that work hard on their kids.
