The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

It is a really nice school and the teachers are great too. The school would be even better with more sports being there and more STEM classes.

Alhambra High school is a decent school to attend. It offers quite a few classes. The teachers and the staff at the school are pretty decent. Sports are good and academics are good aswell. I would like there to be more diversity in the classes.

Alhambra High School is located in Martinez, CA. Upon moving here in eighth grade, the first thing I noticed was the closeness and sense of family the community shared. No family was left out of the weekly farmer's market or ice skating rink set up. It was like walking into the home of a connected and happy family.

My son has...
