During freshman year, everything was good, I had teachers helping me out and adjusting to high school, but that was during the "zoom era". When we started to go back in person, it was hard to keep up but I had teachers supporting me. However, I wish that the diversity could change, while this school is known for "acceptance" of either POC or LGBTQ+, the truth is, it mostly is a school for white queers, I honestly feel like the school tries to be "woke" for social issues, but it feels like it was just a "one-time act". Overall great arts program.

My son it just finishing his freshman year at Mid-Penn. It has been his best year of school yet. I recently spoke with 5 other freshman parents who echoed this sentiment. Wow. This year my son wanted to go to school nearly every day and was concerned about being late. A previously chronic problem for him. The teachers have been very supportive. We get a weekly report on any homework that is late. Another chronic problem. This allows us to quickly address the problem rather than hearing about late work too late when grades come out. His social life is definitely his best ever. Staff and faculty know each student by name. And students all seem to know each other. I hear many of the students have needs for extra emotional and organizational help and Mid-Penn seems to be addressing this challenge head on and successfully.

Very small school with a wide range of students. You are able to go above and beyond if you are motivated, but few are. The sports are inclusive and generally most students are welcoming and kind.

Mid-Peninsula High failed to respond appropriately to a serious bullying episode. We have learned of several similar situations at the school in recent history. While there are some wonderful teachers, the culture and values of the school leave a great deal to be desired.

Mid Pen is an amazing place. They really do have late starts to encourage more sleep for teens! (The only school in the Bay Area actually walking the walk on this!) They have amazing drama and art programs! Sports are open to all and fun! There are endless opportunities for developing all kinds of i...

Stellar. 10/10. I never thought I would take the risks and meet the challenges and I have been able to succeed in each endeavor.
