My son it just finishing his freshman year at Mid-Penn. It has been his best year of school yet. I recently spoke with 5 other freshman parents who echoed this sentiment. Wow. This year my son wanted to go to school nearly every day and was concerned about being late. A previously chronic problem for him. The teachers have been very supportive. We get a weekly report on any homework that is late. Another chronic problem. This allows us to quickly address the problem rather than hearing about late work too late when grades come out. His social life is definitely his best ever. Staff and faculty know each student by name. And students all seem to know each other. I hear many of the students have needs for extra emotional and organizational help and Mid-Penn seems to be addressing this challenge head on and successfully.

I have been involved with this school for several years now. I simply cannot understand the ratings this school has been assigned. A grade of B in diversity. This is absurd. From an ethnic, economic and any other measure I can think of no Private schools in the area that come even close. The culture and academics of the school are incomparable. This school makes a difference for students and the community. Top notch

Mid-Peninsula High failed to respond appropriately to a serious bullying episode. We have learned of several similar situations at the school in recent history. While there are some wonderful teachers, the culture and values of the school leave a great deal to be desired.

Mid Pen is an amazing place. They really do have late starts to encourage more sleep for teens! (The only school in the Bay Area actually walking the walk on this!)
