GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

OakRidge High school has both its pros and cons. I love the athletics and teacher bonds. The College and Career Counselor is amazing she always made sure resources were being sent out to us she made sure we were updated. I love the way they tried their very best to make sure every single senior had all requirements when it came to graduation. I wish there were more events for the senior class just to have fun for your last year of high school. I would love to see the way discipline deans treat students change but beside that OakRidge is an amazing high school and i enjoyed my senior year. Go PIONEERS!!

The school provides a lot of opportunities like dual enrolment for Valencia, & Orange Technical College. I as one attend to Orange Technical College & am so happy with the opportunity that both schools have given me. The school also provides a lot of resources & people to help the students(s) just needs to look for help themselves & check their email daily. The school also provides challenging classes & elective magnet programs like Hospitality & tourism & 3DE. I have been in the Hospitality class before & am in the 3DE class & I would say that they have helped me a lot as a student & for my future. Oak Ridge has also done a very good job this year so far when it comes to safety, everywhere you look there are deans, & every door is locked. The only thing that I would say that I don't like about the school is that, there's not a teacher for every class. There are classes that to not have a teacher, sometimes even for a whole year, but I don't think that the school is a problem.

Could spend more money on the students.they spend more money on rumbas in the teacher's lounge than student enrichment.I think that money is better put to use on cleaning the school.

I consider this as one of the best schools in Orange County because everyone is just one family and the teachers,as well as staff members, are always concerned about the students future, whether it be academical or personal. Best school!
