The best parts of my school are the community and the extracurriculars. The worst parts are the facilities and the lack of diverse course options. I would like to see better access to resources and knowledge regarding college, SATs, ACTs, and dual enrollment.

At Marshall i've experienced consistent education standards and an encouraging and supporting environment that inspires you to succeed more. Of course not every teacher will be your favorite but you are sure to get amazing quality AP teachers, especially for AP World History, AP Lang, AP chem, etc. We have the highest decibel of AP scores on average for AP exams. Our school is the most diverse school in PUSD, with the most diverse range of kids of all ages. I never thought about how this influenced my life until I go to games and something different, I'm used to seeing unique faces, at this point I don't even see them as different, they're just my friends. There will at least be 3-5 teachers/administrators that you can talk to always. Some things I don't particularly like is the quality of facilities. Due to the largest enrollment of students we do get funding (somewhat) but the facilities haven't been properly renovated in almost 100 years. Coming upon our anniversary. But we make do.

This school has been nothing but trouble since my child has entered. The principal is incompetent with handling the delinquent kids that cause issues for the rest of the students. Marshall has gone down hill over the past few years. The new principal does not seem interested in addressing problems on campus.
