Wieland Elementary School, named after a family of 19th-century German settlers who became Pflugerville leaders, prides itself on honoring the determination of the community’s founders. Today, the school’s students strive for excellence and are encouraged to develop leadership skills.
Pflugerville Independent School District’s challenging reading, math, science and social studies curriculum ensures students are well-prepared to move on in their academic careers. Students share what they’ve learned with the community and exhibit their creative talents in a virtual fine arts showcase. Special activities and events for students include a birthday party for Dr. Seuss and a pumpkin-decorating contest.
