When I transferred to Valadez halfway through 6th grade, I was scared and I was not sure I would like it there. I feared that I wouldn't fit in or even find friends to sit at lunch with the first day. The moment I walked through those doors, I felt welcomed. Since the day I first started there all the way to my last, I never felt like I didn't have friends or someone I could talk to. All the teachers and administration there truly care. Even to this day, I still am in contact with most of my middle school teachers. They have left a mark on my life as well as the life of my siblings. I saw the impact they made on my life. They were even there the day we graduated high school. I am so thankful for this school.
