There are a lot of opportunities here at valencia (example the IB ValTech and Caimbridge programs as well as our well performing band and orchestra as well as sports like tennis, football, golf, baseball, and basketball) but the new block schedule is very different (not bad but different) and depending on the way you operate it may not be for you (in case you aren't aware the new schedule consists of 3 periods that are twice as long, instead of the normal 6 period schedule)

This school has changed me in so many ways. Due to the structure of the course work I feel properly prepared for the rigor I may have in my future. The way the teachers resonate with their students helped me a lot with my motivation with finishing our coursework. I wish that valencia as a school had stronger school spirit. Many of the dances and spirit days are boring though there hasnt been more effort starting this year.

I'm a senior in Valencia High school and in these 4 years being at Valencia they were the best years. So much memories and fun with friends. Teachers are so amazing and making learning fun and engaging.
