EWM has a year round calendar - nine weeks in, three weeks off- that I tried for the first time this school year. While I'm not a fan of it, lots of others are. The school itself is older and does not communicate with parents as often as it should. The teachers my son have are okay, but none of them are exceptional.

The Neuse River Middle School is amazing. I have twins who finished there in 2023. The staff works hard to connect with parents and students. Teachers made time to discuss, with parents or guardians, ways to help encourage the student's understanding of material and confidence level. The music class...

My child went here for 3 years. I thought it was a great school. They have lots of programs. My son played soccer and ran track there. They offer theater, band, art and have clubs. The teachers are excellent and very nice. The principal is super!

My son has been at East Wake Middle for 3 quarters now and we have had such a positive experience! His teachers care about him, communicate well and the principal has an open door policy! We are so very happy to be here!
