Savanna Elementary has been very disappointing in my experience. One of the most serious problems is the way the school ignores chronic absences. Even when children miss school repeatedly, staff simply accept retroactive doctor’s notes and fail to hold anyone accountable. This lack of action is harm...

The school has shown progress and deserves recognition for its efforts. An API of 816 meets the statewide interim performance target, so yes progress means growth and with growth in education comes success.

Please do not put you're child in this school, they are below California standards on all testing scores! What is worse they have been that since for years, with no accountability.
