I had a good experience with Highland Park Senior High School. It was good academically, arguably the best public school in SPPS. It was still dangerous in some ways with many kids smoking in the bathrooms or getting into fights, this is what I would like to see changed.

Highland park senior high has good IB programs which are very difficult, but prepare students for college. Highland park senior high is small and electives aren't the best.

One of the better Saint Paul Public schools. Very diverse student body, and the IB diploma program is a big bonus. Athletic participation is very high and the surrounding area is very pleasant.

Lots of class and extracurricular opportunities. The teachers are sometimes too busy, but overall a fantastic public school.

Highland Park Senior High is a very amazing place. It is very welcoming to all ethnic groups and has great academic support. I had a blast going there and I know go to the U of M for college. Overall an amazing school!

This school is particularly bad for boys. It makes them feel like losers. If you have a boy choose any school over Highland.
