Mission View is an independent studies school. What makes it unique is that you are only required to go once a week to turn in your work. However, you can go as many days as you'd like. You only have 1 supervising teacher who you see at school he or she knows you very well due to each teacher having a small amount of students unlike an LAUSD school. Every week you get 2 packet 1 packet per class. You do a project or take a test to show you understood the packets assigned to you. Due to this system students with missing credits catch up and those who aren't behind get ahead. I am ahead by 1 year. I will finish high school in 3 years instead of 4.
