Lincoln Elementary is a friendly neighborhood elementary school located on Santa Clara Street in downtown Ventura. Lincoln serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade, with a focus on the arts, gardening and the whole child.
The school’s mission is to provide a “child-centered community, celebrating diverse and meaningful learning for all children.” Parents say the school runs like a family, with responsive teachers and administrators who are kind and care about each student.
Students and visitors are greeted by cheerful murals on the exterior of the school, featuring vistas of the coast and palm trees as well as colorful books.
As part of the Ventura Unified School District, Lincoln Elementary participates in the annual districtwide juried art show for elementary, middle and high school students. The art show is co-sponsored by the Ventura County Museum of Art.

I absolutely love Lincoln. It is a wonderful community. The principal, teachers, counselor, and staff really care. They go above and beyond for each student. I highly recommend Lincoln to everyone!

My family loves this school so much. The entire staff seems to know all of the students and everyone there takes time to listen and encourage all of the students. This is my third year at the school we transferred here because it's such an amazing School strong and mighty and have wonderful art and PE and assembly and music programs in the parents and the teachers and the staff are so kind and know everybody it really feels like family there which is awesome...
