My time at burncoat was horrible, one of my teachers treated me like i was someone to pick on? some teachers are very sweet and nice but the school itself is disgusting. the cafeterias always smell horrible and i asked about it once, they said "something must have died again". they did nothing to fix that and it stunk all year, it literally traveled through the vents into the classroom and it got so bad we had to leave early. if you wanna go to a good school this one is definitely not it, your children will be disgusted themselves. 3/10 school (a 3 bc i got to meet good friends)

My experience with Burncoat Senior High has been marked by a roller coaster of emotions ever since I stepped foot in their building and it took a lot out of me to get used to my new environment because I had moved all the way from Texas to Massachusetts, and its been very hard to adapt and really be comfortable with where i'm at. I'm grateful and happy that I get to go to school everday, even though I don't feel at home and not used to my surroundings, i'm still happy that I have people and friends to talk to and somewhere to get my education because some kids in the world don't have the resources and opportunities I receive everyday.

Even though this school is clearly in the worst shape out of all of the WPS high schools, the staff and teachers make up for it. I have heard stories of the teachers at other schools, and I don't think there are better caring teachers outside of Burncoat. The teachers genuinely care for each of their students and want them to succeed in not only their class, but throughout the rest of their academic careers. I would take that over fancy cafeterias and more than one bathroom any day of the week. Burncoat's lunch food is horrible (no surprise there) and there may or may not be mold in the ceilings and mice running around, but the teachers are wonderful, which is most important.

This school is awful. I have conducted many surveys of other schools' kids' test scores and behavioral records, and this comes in as the worst. I attend this school, and have attended it for a couple of years now. I have had no behavioral problems myself, but when I look around this school us just a...
