Running Springs Elementary School believes that every child is entitled to an outstanding instructional program within a safe and caring environment. This public elementary school is located near the 241 freeway in the eastern section of Anaheim Hills. The school serves close to 700 students from transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. Test scores at this school are far above the state average, and the student-teacher ratio is 25-to-1.
In addition to its core academic programs, Running Springs Elementary School offers a number of extracurricular programs, including a robotics club, drone league, chess club, a peer assistance leadership program and art classes. The school also has a STEAM lab as a way to help bring students closer to technology and bring the science and math curriculum to life.
Running Springs is currently pursuing authorization as an International Baccalaureate World School. Its core academic programs include Spanish language classes beginning in transitional kindergarten.

I have had my kids there for 3 years and every year I love the school more. The teachers are amazing, there are so many school activities and parents are highly involved. My favorite activities this year was the bike rodeo for third graders where my kid got a bike license, their talent show and Flags Around the World event. My kid is going to their GATE programe for 4th grade abd im loving the combination of IB and GATE.

My kids have had such a great experience at Running Springs. Could not recommend this school more. The school and classrooms are very clean and up to date with new technology. The teachers have been amazing!

We moved here mid school year. It was a rough transition during covid and we were given very little support by the school. Between a hybrid model, we were lost, and that too mid-year transition.
