I had a great experience at Wakefield High School. I am a current graduate and even though I had my ups and downs I loved it. Wakefield offers almost all you can think of, and if not, you can create it. The spirit is nice, it is very diverse, and they prepared me very well for college. They offer many APs, and they are connected to the Career Center so you can take classes there. They offer a lot of scholarships and I have met pretty awesome teachers who have changed my life. Not only that, but they cared about me and helped me until the end, and we still are in contact. They have the resources. The sports and arts are wonderful, emphasis on the Arts. Safety, maybe something to work on.

Teachers and staff were great, and there's a lot of academic and extracurricular opportunities. More should be done to address the drug problem though.

Wakefield High School was a nice experience due to the environment not very hostile for those who are trying to settle in. There are many opportunities to create a group of friends that share your interested. Learning in the school was not difficult either and they give multiply chances to finish work even in intensified and AP classes. The classes had a learning process that was not rushed and was slow to make sure others could catch up. Wakefield had a lot of diverse classes For those that have higher goals and they even had a fiancial class placed although it was super hard. For all Seniors there was also a Senior project that all seniors had to take based on what you want to pursue. The senior project did not even have to be an end goal but to show that you are thinking about your own future. Overall all Wakefield is not a bad school but there will always be a couple of hot heads here and there but I avoided confrontation allow me to have a good time.

I loved my time at this school. I graduated in 2015 and I learned so much here. My teachers taught me more than just classes, they prepared me for college and beyond. They were great all-around people and role models. I felt like even when taking AP classes my mental health was still a priority here...

Wakefield is one of the worst schools for students. They overwork students and expectations are set to the absolute max. They don’t care about your mental health and will claim how they have all these procedures set in place when they don’t follow it whatsoever. Graduation requirements are absolutel...

This school is the top of the crop of what Arlington Public Schools has to offer. There is the least amount of elitism and the most amount of diversity. Each teacher has been compassionate and understanding to all students who are well behaved. The administrative staff are excellent. Any negative re...
