GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

BHHS has a great education and good teachers. Academics wise, it's excellent. The only problem is the students. This school is mostly filled with rich or Persian kids and a lot of them are immature with no intentions on trying their best. It's harder to connect with them if you have different values as those(about 70%) that go to SMC, or other community colleges. Otherwise, it's generally a good school.

Beverly Hills High School had a strong Vocal Music Program and Theater Department. We were not only taught to find our voice but to find support within one another as we all pushed to create something beautiful with our work ethics and need to grow. I would love to see that move throughout the rest of the school -- strengthen our school spirit and rise together.

Great classes with teachers who care. The basketball team and girls soccer are the best sports and very fun to watch.

My overall experience at Beverly Hills High School has been mixed. While the school has a strong reputation and offers some excellent academic and extracurricular opportunities, it also has areas that need improvement.Learning:In my experience, students here do not always feel excited about what the...

I'm a student at Beverly and it is very different from public perception. The school has fallen back in recent rankings and that is definitely reflected through the student body. Most of the student body are very lazy, ungrateful, and could not care less about school. I am truly shocked at the misbe...

The Superintendent of the BHUSD was copied on an email exchange I had with my 9th graders Algebra I teacher where she accused him of cheating. I copied Dr. Bregy and there was never any response. I clearly communicated to the (spectacularly horrible Algebra) teacher (I use the term "teacher" loosely...

Great school. Many leadership opportunities, courses, and teachers. Teachers and principals care.
