I'm a black father of two black children at Herbert Hoover Middle school (and Herbert Hoover Elementary School prior to that). My kids love it there. Yes, the school is mostly white, but my kids have never encountered racism there. So, to the mother who thinks he child's problems are because of his/her race, maybe you need to take a closer look at the problem.

This school is horrible. I had to leave due to the lack of support I had frim anyone. Staff does nothing to stop the bullying. Kids with 504 and even IEPs are still not getting the right education, they disregard everything. This school worries so much about how they look but why don’t care about th...

This is the worst school my child has ever attended. The bullying problem is out of control. I tried repeatedly to meet with teachers but nothing came out of it.
