Mountain View Park
Established in 1945, Saint Finbar School is a private Catholic Parish School serving the cities of Burbank and Glendale with a student population of 257 students. Located at 2120 West Olive Avenue in Burbank, Saint Finbar serves preschool through eighth grade. The school offers both a one-year and two-year preschool program known as the “Early Fives Program.” The one-year Early Fives Program is designed for children who have already turned 4 by October of the same school year. The two-year Early Fives Program is open to potty-trained children at the age of 3.
The school is part of the Catholic Community of Saint Finbar Church and emphasizes the development of spiritual, intellectual and social aspects of each student with enrichment programs highlighting a strong Catholic curriculum with the goal of graduates pursuing the Sacrament of Confirmation and participating in the Parish Youth Group.
The school offers core curriculum of science, math and English, as well as music, French, Spanish, physical education, computers, science lab and art. Extracurricular activities include athletics, student council, youth ministry, choir, newspaper and yearbook. Most of Saint Finbar School’s graduates go on to attend a private Catholic high school. Morning care hours are offered from 6:45 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and afterschool care is provided from 2:50 p.m. to 6 p.m.
