The Sense Charter School serves the southeast side of Indianapolis, enrolling over 600 kindergarten through eighth grade students. Catering to parents seeking unique educational solutions, Sense Charter School is free to attend as part of the Indianapolis' public school system.
For almost 20 years, Sense Charter School has remained a community-minded model promoting "academic excellence, social development, and civic responsibility." Students who perform well may join one of Sense Charter School's high ability classrooms. Taught to think creatively and engage with project-based learning methods, students participating in Sense Charter's high ability program are prepared for high school and college careers.
Students enjoy various athletic choices like volleyball, track and field, cross country, basketball and soccer, while creative extracurriculars include robotics, the glee club, music clubs and environmental clubs. Sense Charter believes curiosity and creativity should be at the center of every child's education and focuses on incorporating the arts and STEM into its core curriculum.
The school also offers a variety of fun events and special occasions. During spirit week, students dress differently every day. Past themes have included cowboy boots and western flannels, team sport jerseys and Disney characters. Committed to fostering an excitement for learning, Sense Charter School values the art of discovery.

since charter school is the worst school my little cousin got in trouble for telling on a teacher for pumping milk for her baby in the middle of class infront of all the students the lady said she was lying and cussing and told my little cousin that she must not be loved enough because she was upset

This school ended my teaching career. There is a lot of backstabbing co-workers and those are the ones that administration favor.
