This early childhood education facility, also known as Catalyst Kids, is located on the grounds of Woodbury Elementary School. The Center works in partnership with the school and offers enrichment programs for transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students, as well as before and after school programming and camps for elementary students.
The Center’s kindergarten enrichment programs provide developmentally appropriate programming for transitional kindergarten and kindergarten children that are cohesive and in line with what they are learning during the school day. The Center uses literature to augment children’s learning and to help develop motivation in students for reading and skill building.
The Center’s elementary before-and-after-school programming is geared toward developing positive relationships and building upon what the children are already learning in school using fun and engaging tactics. Activities include physical fitness, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor recreation and assistance with homework.
The Center’s summer camps offer more opportunities for curious engagement and fun as a means for supporting the core curriculum concepts that children have already been exposed to during the school year.
