New Roots is a great school that really cares about its students. The adults are helpful and supportive. I wish we had sports and could do programs at BOCES, but we need more funding.

I'm currently at the school and I think that the parents, teachers, and administrators are heavily involved and concerned about the students well being!

parents choose to be as involved as they want most of the children are very independent and secure in their academics

Most teachers are super great. The administration is super manipulative but super supportive of students. I went for years and wouldn't recommend it to others...but I never left.

I would rate this school 1 out of 5 mostly due to weak administration and poor academic performance. Ithaca has very high achieving, safe and well run schools. I can't understand why parents and students pick a school like this.
