My overall experience with Lawndale High School is that it's a good school that helps students reach for their future goals and paths for when they are older and entering college or work life. The staff at Lawndale are very helpful and care for their students very well. The teachers do an excellent job when it comes to teaching and get down to the bottom of their lectures. As a first-year student in high school, it has been an overall great experience to be at Lawndale High School.

Lawndale has been a great experience for me. Even though I have only been here for a year, I have eat many people and one many things that I think have guided me for success in the future. I have talked to many different people, and done many different things with the resources provided by my school. I would highly recommend my school to any future students, as they are very big on student success and there are many times where you can tell that the school wishes the best for you.

I believe Lawndale High School is a mediocre school, with nothing special to it. The teachers here are nice, but there is a low shortage of teachers, which causes some courses to be completely removed. Courses like creative writing and piano were removed due to a lack of teachers.

I am very concerned for mine and any child’s safety at this school. My child got bullied, called racial slurs and was harassed by the soccer team. If you're genuinely concerned about your child's education, I strongly recommend considering nearby schools like Mira Costa or Redondo Union. Unfortunately, this school lacks diversity and is predominantly made up of Black and Hispanic students, many of whom misrepresent their residency. A significa...

My son had the opportunity to go to an elite private school for free in Los angeles. We chose to go to Lawndale High School for their academies and their Sports program. We are so happy that we did. The academics especially in the honors and AP classes are excellent.
