Named after the American civil rights and labor reform leader Cesar Chavez, this two-story state-of-the art school embodies a bold spirit. Built in 2004 on 2.5 acres, Chavez Elementary School has 65,000 square feet of facilities, energy efficient classrooms, workrooms and a large gymnasium.
Cesar Chavez Elementary School provides kindergarten through fifth grade education and offers dual-immersion instruction, where students fluent in English and Spanish are grouped together and taught in both languages. The program aims to provide academic and cultural benefits to students.
The school offers a resource center for parents, giving presentations and hosting workshops on education and social issues facing students. There are also partnerships with local nonprofit health care centers and the after-school program called Winners Reaching Amazing Potential, or WRAP.

Great Schools only reports on test scores which are heavily predetermined by income. This school has a great small school community and the pto works hard to provide a variety of opportunities for the kids.

I definitely love the teachers that my son has been working with its given him confidence and grace through successes and hardships but forsake the principles guidelines throughout the school make teamwork impossible with the administration

This school is amazing! My daughter attended this school for 5 years. The staff is beyond helpful,they go out of there way to make sure the children are safe.
