Going to school at Poly highschool in Long beach has always been my path. My father went to Poly many years ago, then my sister, then me. I feel as though poly is the best school in the Long beach area. Being in the CIC program is a privilege and having the opportunity to take AP classes whenever and honors courses, it's a big advantage Poly has over other schools

It's honestly a great school with a lot of opportunities. It's split up into pathways and I'm in the PACE wathway that specializes in academics and college readiness and the PACE teachers are excellent and do their best to accomodate to student needs. I do feel like other teachers arent as attentive to students, an example is my spanish teacher that is for all pathwaus, I don't feel the rigor or like I'm learning anything in it. The buildings are old so not all of them have AC. The diversity is great aswell.

Best experience was the diversity and engagement of people, worst part is the surrounding area and the traffic to school.
