Naples Bayside Academy, a 2015 National Blue Ribbon School, is located in a circa-1925 school building in Long Beach. The school teaches about 320 kindergarten through fifth grade students. Core curriculum includes classes in English, math, social science, history and physical education. The school has a community kindness program and students embrace the Peacebuilders Pledge, which is a commitment to give others positive reinforcement and avoid negative comments and insults. Naples Elementary School sponsors a widely celebrated art program where students study some of the most influential artists of all times and create their own masterpieces. Students also receive weekly lessons in technology literacy and learn to advance their skill set and proficiency.

If you’re a snobby rich family there’s a small chance you should be fine. This school looked good on paper but our kid has been subject to bullying, harassment, and use to love going to school. We will be pulling them out INDEFINITELY over the summer break.

Our children have thrived at Naples. Even though they have different learning styles, the teachers we have encountered try to tailor engagement to the most effective style for my kids. Naples started as a very good school for us but went down hill as time went on and Principals changed. The PTA at this school is very unwelcoming to new families and has way too much power. I want to give parents of kids enrolling in kindergarten a heads up about the school's split class approach. 1/2 of the kindergarteners, the Early Starts - ES, have class 8:00 - 12:20.
