Before I attended Central City Value I had another high school in mind to go to because I didn't want to attend the same school as my brother and I didn't like how the school was small. Growing up I was always afraid to ask for help, so I was always independent with my work and if I struggled on an assignment I wouldn't reach for help and just do my best. Going to this school had changed that, the teachers would care for us and would make sure we weren't having a hard time. This school has helped me become more open and the benefits of being in a small school are that the teachers have more time to get to know each one of the students and focus on them.

I transferred to this school because I needed to take a break from my old school. This school was good at first, but it slowly started getting unorganized and out of control. Almost one or more people get in trouble every day, and it feels like there is too much going on at once. Last week, someone...

I love teaching here!! I thought about leaving the teaching profession after 15 years. I though what the heck I'll give it one more try and took the position at CCVHS. I can say I have fallen in love with teaching all over again. The students are great, the administrators are effective leaders, and...

If your goal as a parent is to only enable your child/children to moderately succeed in the state’s common core, then CCVHS is a decent choice. However, if you want your child to actually succeed in life and be able to participate in extracurricular activities such as orchestra, band, and/or literal...

I recently graduated from Central City Value High School and I absolutely love the school! It's small and it has amazing teachers! I have never felt so loved, appreciated, and pushed by teachers. In Central City, they wear uniform and it's very settle. The students there grow strong relationships an...
