The best thing about SVAH is the project based learning. Being able to work with others and prep us for many life skills like presenting has improved me as a student. I went to SVAH for its animation lab and I've been loving it ever since I got my first class in the digital pathway. It's really focused on enriching and providing resources for student artists. The worst part is not the school itself but how it's in a mildly dangerous neighborhood.

So far my experience in this school us superb. The teachers are present and do their best to help every child's needs. Kids are treated with respect and there are rarely any major fights in our school. Although I wish there were more science classes, the classes here are all specializing in what the school is known for.

Average. I'm hopeful that our new principal will be able to effectively purge our school of ineffective, lazy instructors and bring in efficient administrators whom have a passion for student success.

This school is full of kids cursing, using their phones during class time for personal use, talking and laughing during lectures, and talking back to teachers as though they are clueless to the notion of an authority figure or respect for the teacher. The principal doesn't enforce the rules or regul...
