Hillbrook is a very diverse school and a great place to make friends. Hillbrook has been an amazing experience for me. Hillbrook also serves the best food, provides great educations, and is very good with sports. I highly recommend Hillbrook.

Our daughter has been at HB since K (she is currently a 6th grader) and it was the right fit for her. I sat on the Diversity & Inclusivity committee for my first 2 years there and you can now see it reflected in the student body. As an educator/administrator I see the quality, as well as kindness of both the teachers and administrators at HB (it was especially evident during Covid). The history and legacy of HB is amazing and as I've told family and friends over the years there is no perfect school however HB was the right choice for our daughter and family.

It's sad to see this school failing the way it is now. The current administration is failing the students. They are not able to provide students the proper education or the safe learning environment they deserve despite of the hefty tuition. The upper level (5-8) workload is unreasonable and doesn't factor in the foundational skills the students were not taught in the lower grades. The individualized learning program is a promise the school fails to keep. The school has a large number of children with learning and social needs. It now feels like a reverse inclusion program where the minority is the average student who doesn't need the additional support.

As a parent and employee of the school, I couldn't be happier. The kindergarten experience my son had was magical, and I'm so grateful that he's growing up in an educational environment where he is so deeply known and loved by the teachers with whom he spends his days.
