Maternity of Mary - St. Andrew is a Catholic school that serves around 200 students in prekindergarten through eighth grade with a traditional curriculum supplemented by religious education. Its mission is to guide students through their beginning years of school with compassion and give them a solid spiritual, academic and moral foundation.
Maternity of Mary is located at Arlington Avenue West, focusing on Catholic culture that includes grade-level daily religion classes, weekly confession and all-school Masses. Originally founded in the 1950s with four nuns as educators, the former St. Andrew school was consolidated into the Maternity of Mary in 1989. An extensive building renovation that included a gymnasium with retractable bleachers and a basketball court was completed in 2010.
The school offers a band program, after-school enrichment clubs and sports. Maternity of Mary strengthens service and leadership skills with opportunities for its students to participate in activities such as altar server and school patrol.

Small class sizes coupled with caring teachers and administrators makes MMSA top notch. The class sizes give the correct student ratio that is needed for each student to grow spiritually, socially, academically and physically.

We are very happy with MMSA, the teachers and staff really care about each student so I know that my kids won't fall between the cracks. The school culture promotes building character and becoming a good person in addition to traditional academics.

Excellent school - great, fun, networked parent groups. Catholic spirituality is very strong and vibrant here and teachers genuinely care about their students. Fr. Williams is wonderful! Maggie Quast is an excellent principal. The school also has a beautiful gym for athletics.
