250 kids and capacity is 400. We were encouraged to do an intradistrict transfer. Planned everything around this arrangement. My son was crushed when we found out we were declined. The have a 33% IEP rate and don't have the staff to take on another child with an IEP. How can a public school decline a child with an IEP. What do you do with kids when the statistics are that Autism is doubling every so many years. Do we just dig a hole and throw them in it or burn them alive? I am so dissapointed and I have to figure out where to send my son other than the 2000 kid neighborhood school.

In my experience at Tide Academy, it's really nice not gonna lie, to be honest at the start I wasn't sure I wanted to go there but by the time passed the school got better even though the time passed we had some obstacles but we still made it and until now the school is great something I love about the school is the community because you can it small and you really get to know everyone although everything is good I would like to see a change like for the elective classes it would be amazing if we could also have a music class and not just art.
