I graduated from Merced High in 2023. I would say that the school has a good environment in academics, events and diversity. However, the counselors do not help as much. I did not know about the dual enrollment program until my senior year from a friend. I believe that the counselors should do better in informing us about resources to help us in the future. We are not in high school forever. We will eventually become adults so knowing what is available to us would have been helpful.

merced highschool is full of a diversity of students from many different ethnic backgrounds cultivating a very diverse experience for every student. the school does have its flaws but makes it up when it comes to cultural appreciation and the patients to accept the diverse backgrounds of everybody.
