This is a small school in a high poverty rate community. The classes are small and the teachers are highly dedicated, often volunteering after school and at night programs. The school is great except they don't offer an after school program (it's 2012 people!) and we have had an awful time trying to find after school care in this small town. They won't bus outside the district. Otherwise the teachers are very good.

North Collins is a small school, but makes up for it with caring, dedicated teachers, an active PTA, and involved parents. (BTW, the school doors are locked for *safety*, not because they don't want parents walking in the hallway ... one would think you'd be grateful for this measure of diligence in...

This is a great school. My son has done very well and likes the teachers and staff. The school like any have some issue but then again it totally depends on the individuals involved. The whole pledge is said in the classrooms just not over the PA system. Also the security measures are needed in this...
