I have never had worse anxiety in my life than I did 5 years ago at Twin Peaks Middle School. Coming to this school in Eighth grade, my teachers made me feel like an outcast. I will never forget how immensely my mental health deteriorated day by day. Each teacher acted as if they were my only teacher. "Preparing me for high-school", they would say. They were preparing me to cry as I walked home every day. I feel terrible for anyone who has to go to this school as a new student.

Our oldest son went to school at Pomerado and Meadowbrook. I mention this because our experience at those schools were VERY different than our experience at Tierra Bonita and Twin Peaks with our two younger sons. Twin Peaks has an environment where quite a few students feel comfortable openly saying the n word (hard r). This issue is ignored.
