I would like to see a change in the staffs interaction with our education. I wish staff made our education and futures a priority. They don't believe in us and set us up for failure.

It was an okay experience. If you're interested in doing the IB program, then this would be a good school since other schools in the area do AP. Overall, it was an okay school, not the best but not the worst.

My brother went to UC Berkeley and graduated in the IB program, now he is doing his Masters. I graduated with an AA and BA degree. We are both very successful and have great futures because of the opportunities that San Jose High gave us.

My son entered in 9th grade (2017) and has had a great first year. He's looking forward to the IB Diploma coursework, which starts in 11th grade. I'm a student at sjh and I can tell you that the only reason that this school gets all its 'hype' from is the IB program. That's it. Gangs. Drugs. Graffiti. A normal class that does not include IB or Honors, has about5% of students learning. The rest, well that's there future.
