This school is not a good school. Academically and socially. My son learned how to play The Choking Game from students at this school. Because of this he passed away 4 years ago. After this happened I contacted the principal and found that the year before there was another student who passed away from similar circumstances. Nothing was ever mentioned to any of the parents so I never got the chance to talk to my son about this. Not to mention the teachers are not invested in the kids and therefor they just herd them through like cattle with out making sure they will succeed.

They (Davis School District) need to spend some money on upgrades for this school to give the students a more comfortable learning environment. I have seen elementary schools (in the neighborhood, within blocks of SJH) get new gymnasiums, libraries, cafeterias, actual stages with real sound systems...
