Prime West Augusta location with a diverse home inventory
Offering a diverse collection of architectural styles, Lake Aumond gives homebuyers a chance to purchase a home in a prime location in West Augusta. The neighborhood is conveniently located near Interstate 20 and Interstate 520, the Augusta Mall, and a huge shopping center. With some homes offering lakefront properties, the neighborhood provides a little of everything. “Lake Aumond is a central point between Downtown Augusta and Evans, says Ross Trulock, a lifelong Augusta resident and Realtor with Blanch and Calhoun. “You are very close to Interstates 20 and 520 for commuting. It might be a little further from downtown than other city neighborhoods, but not too far to make a huge difference.”

Multiple housing styles in a convenient location
Maybe the most unique thing about the neighborhood is the selection of architectural styles and different home prices. Along winding streets lined with plush old-growth trees, home styles range from brick-front ranch-style bungalows to new construction Craftsman-styles and spacious millennium mansions. Because of the range in styles and square footage, the price range is extensive and spans from $131,000 to $933,000. “The market is unique because of the diversity of selection. On one street, you can find 1950s brick ranch styles, and then across the road, you can find 3-to-4-thousand-square-foot homes selling for nearly a million dollars,” Trulock says.
