Houses cost a little more than in surrounding areas
The Kenny neighborhood is a Southwest Minneapolis bouquet of lakeside views, locally owned businesses and homes that average in price slightly higher than in surrounding areas. The reasons for those higher prices can be found by spending time in the community, soaking up the family-like atmosphere. “I would say that Kenny is a happening family neighborhood that both young people and older people love because of its diversity, proximity to downtown, the airport and other attractions,” says Bill Bomberg, real estate agent at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. “It’s a great safe neighborhood that’s the type of place where neighbors come together and help each other out.” Kenny Park is at the center of the neighborhood, both literally and figuratively.
