GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

What I like about Anderson High School is that is a safe school, administration, school culture, resources, and administration is ok. What I don't like about this school is that there's racism, not a lot of AP classes, not a lot of cool electives, school food is disgusting, strict bathroom rooms, every sport sucks, except for boys soccer, and the teachers are sorts annoying. This high school has to step up their diversity, sports, and courses. There are other high schools in Anderson and Redding that are better than Anderson High.

Personally Anderson High has a really bad school spirit. The students aren't very involved and kind of do their own thing. I've noticed some of the teachers don't try and get students ready for college although they have the best academics in the area. It is a smaller school so diversity is about average.

My son is doing exceptionally well at this school in my opinion. I attended Anderson when I was in high school and there are many new programs and assistance since I was there almost 20 years ago. I am proud to say that they have improved their programs and they seem to have a good counseling team t...

The school is turning into something I don't like. Lack of proper and fair rules creates problems between students and staff. Lack of good and positive coaching creates problems with athletes which is continuously lowering the number of athletes trying out. I have seen the varsity boys basketball co...
