Berthoud High School is an extremely tight-knit environment, where everybody knows everybody. There are pros and cons to having a small student body, but I would say the main benefit of having such a small population is the student and teacher engagement at this school. The teachers here are very welcoming and often know nearly every kid even if they do not teach them. This makes for a joyful classroom dynamic, with teaching styles to cater to each students' interests.

High school was an excellent experience for me, and I was very pleased with my time there. My best experience is being able to take college classes through our local community college.

During my time at Berthoud High School I have experienced a lot of amazing experiences. First I am very involved in out FFA chapter. This has been a great opportunity for me as it has increased my student involvement, and has made me noticeably more confident. Every program I have been a part of has been very organized, making it very easy for me. An example is our NHS where everything is organized with due dates that are reasonable and easy to follow.

This is a fantastic school that offers a lot for my children and their classes are very engaging. Their athletic programs provide much for the development for our kids. The STEM program especially helped my 2 sons grow up to be young successful men. Thank you Berthoud!

Our neighbors just graduated their second child from Berthoud High School. They speak of the school very highly. He has grown up to be a very fine young man. Our children will not be in High School for 4 more years. We love the small town feeling with high standards.

BHS is a very math and science oriented school. A student there can really excell if they take the initiative. No, the staff doesn't coddle the kids. They are expected to do there work and research post-secondary options for themselves. Your child will easily fall behind here if they're not motivate...
