Located just a few minutes from the 78 and 15 freeways, the school is convenient for most Escondido families, and has welcomed students into its hallways since it first opened in 1980.
While Lincoln might not have the highest test scores in the area, the school works hard to set itself apart. With a 20:1 student-to-teacher ratio, students are given the attention they need, and encouraged to achieve through the many enrichment opportunities offered. With the “Set Your Compass for Success” program, students get extra support on reading comprehension, while a partnership with the Children’s Discovery Museum and Center for the Arts allows kids to participate in the visual and performing arts. With Lion TV, the school’s student-led news broadcast, students learn how to produce, write, plan, and direct.
In addition to its enrichment programs, the school also offers an exemplary dual language program. Through instruction in both English and Spanish, students are able to develop essential skills in both languages, giving them a leg up in their global futures.

This reflects on Parents, children,Staff, and total community. This could be addressed and resolved within five year...

I am a college student enrolled in a prerequisite credential program class at Cal State San Marcos. The staff at Lincoln was eager to help me with a project for my class, and were very generous while I was there.
