Being at Herbert Hoover High School was a blessing it didn't hold that much diversity for myself but in experience it helped me stay focused on my main goals as a student athlete. The teachers and counseling office played a major role in my college search they mad it not only easy for me to stay maintained and have great grades but made sure that the college I committed to was the right fit for me. The environment is calm nothing too crazy about the school. My 4 years at this school was a great blessing I learned alot of new things and am ready to take my next step to manhood.

My experience at Herbert Hoover High School has been nothing but amazing. Besides having great academics Hoover also has good school culture including great teachers, fun school activities, and a lot of opportunities for growth.

When you step into the school, it feels nice and you admire the cleanliness of the school. Something that should change is that there aren't any big consequences for those students who dont have any discipline and sometimes effects others in class.

Hoover High School fosters division and intolerance among ethnic groups by politicizing the campus and punishing students who challenge the status quo. This has been my experience as a parent of a student at the school, and alumni. If you’re child is not Armenian, they are likely going to get treate...

If you love your child, please don't send them here or any school in GUSD. There is no accountability from teacher's or staff. The focus is exactly what is being said in current board meetings. Classroom environments are now places that children are encouraged to engage in sexual relations and if yo...

Sometimes it’s okay, but most of the teachers are not good teachers. I had two out of seven teachers that I actually liked. Most of my teachers I disliked. Some give unreasonable expectations, or progress way too fast. A lot of the work feels like it’s only there to fill time. Homophobia is really b...
