I have been going to George Washington for more than four years, I went there when they still had a seventh and eighth grade. It was the school I went to because it was close to where I lived and overall the experience was great. I passed my classes and had great friends and great experiences. Granted School isn't always easy or the best but to come here was a great decision on my behalf. A lot of people don't like it but I like the place because of the memories I've had and the people I have come to meet

I love the teachers. They truly cared about me as a student and a human being. They were always prepared and ready to teach enthusiastically.

The principal cares about the students and, in my experience, so do t...

Bad experience and not a school I would even send my other son too he is too bright for that school now I wish I would have stayed where I was living at and found another place there so my son and daughter would not have too attend at GWHS.

This is a failing inner-city high school with a high drop out rate. Violence, drug abuse, and gang activity are rampant. If you love your children and want then to have a chance at a decent future do not send them to George Washington High School. It should be closed and taken over by the state like...
