Pennekamp is one of the best elementary school in MBUSD! Many great learning opportunities for kids with emphasis on Social Emotional Learning. The best elementary school in MBUSD by far! Many great extras including science lab, music starting at 4th grade with possibility of honors band, makerspace and more. Families are very involved. There are so many behavioral problems at this school and it’s swept under the rug. It’s cool to be mean and bullying is rampant and parents don’t care that their kids are really mean.
