I am not sure who the person is that wrote the previous review but this school is by far one of the best schools in Colorado along with the best and caring teachers that act like they care about the kids. They want them to actually learn. I wish all schools were like the ones in Douglas county. I know that with proper education in math, science, reading, and arithmetic rather than focusing on other things that do not matter in the scheme of things, all schools could rise to the top.

Dying rat in the classroom and it took forever to get rid of it don't recommend this school. The 6th-grade upstairs pod is the best and the downstairs 7th-grade pod is also great but some of the teachers can be strict. SSOMANY RATS in the school. The drama teacher yells at you if you are late for anything. The clubs a fun. The teachers pressure you too much and they teach you to fail. Don't recommend it. >:)

Sagewood is a special place with a unique community. There are lots of ways for students to get involved and because it is a smaller middle school, the staff and teachers really get to know students. My son (now a freshman at Pondo 2023) and our family had a positive experience at Sagewood. He went there for 2 years after relocating here. I’m not sure how academically challenged he was (he is private about his work) but he got excellent grades, was motivated and didn’t want to miss school (!). W...
